Norwegian Cruise Line is an internationally operating cruise line headquartered in Miami. For 51 years now, NCL has established itself as an innovation leader in the cruise industry. The company introduced Freestyle Cruising in 2000, which offers passengers maximum individuality, freedom and flexibility on board. A comprehensive Premium All Inclusive concept followed in 2015. In April 2018 the newest fleet member, Norwegian Bliss, celebrated its premiere season in Alaska. NCL has also commissioned Meyer Werft to build another ship of the Breakaway Plus class: the Norwegian Encore will leave Miami for the Caribbean from autumn 2019. In the summer of 2019, six NCL ships will be sailing in European waters.
